About Me

181220-MA-4171-2I am a writer and editor in Winnipeg, with an M.A. in English from Queen’s University and a B.A. in English and Classics from the University of Colorado.

My articles have been published by CBC, Herizons, The Uniter, HuffPost, Feminist Current, and Teaching Life, including a cover story mitigating and responding to gender-based violence in the Spring 2020 issue of Herizons. I have also been a contributing writer for the Winnipeg Free Press and a content writer for the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology, in addition to other media outlets.

In addition to my freelance writing, I am also working on some personal essays and a novel, with hopes to send out a proposal in the spring. When I’m not writing or with my family, I gardening, reading, or relaxing.
